Graduate Program

 

The Department of Mining Engineering at West Virginia University offers Master of Science (MS) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees in mining engineering or mineral processing. Both programs are focused on assisting students in attaining a high level of accomplishment within the field of mineral engineering.

Financial Assistance for both the MS and PhD programs is available in the form of graduate research assistantships. Teaching assistantships are limited to currently enrolled graduate students.
