Faculty and Staff
There are 6 faculty and research staff in the mining engineering program and all of them have a PhD in their areas of expertise. In addition to regular teaching duties, all of the faculty are very active in research projects that include computer applications, coal and mineral processing, mining/milling wastes management and closure, mine ventilation networking, mine management, mine health and safety, respirable dust, mine equipment, rock mechanics, and ground control. |
